Cobalt Is An Action-Platformer Team-Up Between Mojang and Oxeye

Mojang isn't just the studio behind Minecraft. The team is joining forces with Oxeye to deliver a new, cooperative action game called Cobalt.

We'll have a chance to see more of Cobalt later this week, but the game is far enough into development that Microsoft and Mojang are confident enough to announce an October release.

In addition to the action-oriented gunplay, there are a few minigames shown off in the first trailer. We'll have more for you on Cobalt later this week.
