Reader Discussion: Do You Go For The Collector's Edition?

Collector's edition are pricey, but for the right fan they're worth every penny. Do you always opt for the collector's edition?

Earlier today we posted a feature showcasing many of 2015's best collector's editions, and it prompts the question we're asking in the headline. Sometimes it's just an extra few bucks for some exclusive DLC or a small statue, but often, as linked feature can attest, they can be incredibly expensive. If you're going to spend money on a game, do you have to have the collector's edition? Or are you happy with just a disc (or a download code)?
