Tales Of Berseria Announced For PlayStation 4 And PlayStation 3

We might not have Tales of Zesteria in North America yet, but Bandai Namco has announced the next entry in the series – Tales of Berseria.

Berseria will mark the series' new-gen debut with release on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game was announced during the Tales of Festival in Japan and Gematsu reports the game will feature a female protagonist Velvet. Footage from the game shown at the festival showed Velvet in a prison and on a ship.

Our Take
The Tales series doesn't do much for me personally, but it's always exciting to see new ones announced. The series has maintained a consistency of quality that Final Fantasy (comparable because both are RPGs that start from scratch with each new entry, but share certain thematic elements) seems to have lost.
