Hearthstone Reaches 30 Million Player Milestone

The Twitter account for Blizzard's Hearthstone:Heroes of Warcraft has announced that the strategy card game has reached 30 million players, adding 5 million to the its count since January of this year.
Launching on PC and Mac in March of last year, the game appeared on iPad in April 2014 and Android tablets in December 2014. On April 14, Hearthstone was released for iPhones and Android phones, making its available to a whole new audience.

Our Take
Even though impressive numbers have become commonplace for several Blizzard games, this is spectacular news for this awesome card game. This number is undoubtedly helped by the fact that it was recently made downloadable for phones as well, but any way you spin it, these are big numbers for Hearthstone.
