Splatoon Splatters Nintendo Direct

Still on the fence about Wii U's Splatoon? Nintendo has announced a special Nintendo Direct devoted to the game next week.

Nintendo hasn't mentioned exactly what the Direct covers, but it happens on Thursday, May 7, at 9 am Central time over at Nintendo's Direct site.

Splatoon comes out on May 29.

Our Take
With no online voice chat, the game faces an uphill battle with some gamers. Perhaps this Direct is Nintendo's last chance to try and stoke interest in the title's non-online modes.
