Pac Man Chomps Through Google For April Fools

Google's April Fools jokes are starting early, with Pac Man invading Google Maps and the mobile game Ingress.

Google start-up studio Niantic Labs has temporarily added Pac Man to their game Ingress, a massively multiplayer online game that utilizes augmented reality and GPS-based mechanics. In the game, players must create portals at landmarks or significant public areas, then link them to produce virtual "control fields." 

Additionally, Google Maps now has a playable Pac Man option which allows you to chomp through the streets, as long as you avoid those ghosts at all costs.

Game-related pranks and jokes are in full swing, with Dying Light joining in on the fun with their April Fools themed DLC arriving tomorrow.
