Composers Reimagine Super Mario World’s Amazing Soundtrack

Brothers Karl and Will Brueggemann are composers heavily inspired by video game music, and the two have a new project that's markedly different from the average video game music song cover.

You can check out the video below outlining the project. Basically, the group is trying to use Koji Kondo's composition from Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island as a groundwork to craft their own music in the same style. There's not much like it, and you can hear some of their progress in the latter parts of the video below.
