This Week In Mobile: Bruce Lee, Baldur’s Update, Splash Damage, and Platforming Blobs
This week, fans of Temple Run 2 get a taste of Bruce Lee, and Baldur's Gate gets a big update for everyone who bought the game while it was on sale last week. Splash Damage also dips its toes into the mobile waters and the makers of Cut The Rope roll out an interesting little free-to-play platformer.
Temple Run 2

At this point, Temple Run is a mobile institution. One of the first series to hit it big in the endless-runner genre, the second game added a bit of flare and continues to receive support. Part of that support has been new characters. The game has previously seen the addition of Usain Bolt and a handful of NFL players. Now, anyone looking to kill a little time can hit the temple pathways as Bruce Lee.
Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition

Last week we pointed out that the iOS version of Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition got a 50 percent price cut for a few days. Normally mobile games don’t make this list two weeks in a row, but Beamdog and company rolled out a fairly chunky overhaul for new players this week. The latest update lets fans put the legendary game in their pocket via iPhone support. The patch also mops up a few bugs, improves AI pathfinding, adds German and Spanish translations, and further stabilizes the game’s multiplayer.
Tempo

Splash Damage is a name many people are already familiar with - the studio has handled multiplayer elements for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Doom 3, and Batman: Arkham Origins alongside developing a handful of its own games. This week the studio traded in its online-multiplayer focus for a stab at story-driven quick-time events in their iOS release Tempo. In the game, players are tasked with completing timed dexterity challenges in order to save the world from a psychopath and his evil army.
King of Thieves

ZeptoLabs already gained a fair bit of attention after the success of Cut The Rope, a quirky puzzle game that revolved around . Cut The Rope is an enjoyable distraction, but their new game King of Thieves adds an extra level of depth. In King of Thieves players guide their cube of goo through platforming challenges, attack players' dungeons to steal their gems, and manage their own hideout to keep their stash of valuables safe. Surprisingly, the game's closest comparison would probably be Super Meat Boy - with a side of dungeon building and endless running.
Daytona Rush

Daytona Rush puts players in control of a racecar as it fights its way to the front of a giant race, tasking them with drafting and maintaining the condition of their car as they move up through the pack. An endless racer, the game also features customizable cars, a garage option that allows them to be tuned, and a mission system to give players a little extra to engage with.
