Smooth McGroove Tackles Dark Souls And Majora's Mask In Latest A Cappella Performances
Smooth McGroove, who is known for his a cappella versions of popular video game songs on YouTube, released his latest performances featuring selections from Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
In last week's video, the performer, who typically covers classic themes, took to the Dark Souls with an original a cappella arrangement of "Gwyn, Lord of Cinder." The arrangement, which he calls "one of the most challenging projects I've done in a while" is complete with a chainmail shirt and a feline cameo.
Smooth McGroove's latest video, which went up a few hours ago, coincides with this week's 3DS rerelease of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. In this arrangement, he performs "Oath to Order/Calling the Four Giants." This isn't the first time that he has performed original arrangements based on Zelda games. In the past, Smooth performed songs from Ocarina of Time, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, The Wind Waker, and more.
