Destiny, Dragon Age, Hearthstone, And More Up For D.I.C.E. Game Of The Year Award
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced the slate of nominees for the 18th annual D.I.C.E. Awards. The winners will be announced during the D.I.C.E. Summit taking place in February.
The nominees span 23 categories and include 56 different titles. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor leads the pool with nine nominations.
Game of the year contenders include Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, Hearthstone, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Other categories include recognition for game direction, music composition, sound design, and story.
Genre categories will recognize action, adventure, family, fighting, racking, role-playing, sports, and strategy titles. There are also categories for handheld and mobile titles.
