CD Projekt Red And Fantasy Flight Games Announce The Witcher Board Game

Witcher developer CD Projekt Red has teamed up with tabletop developers Fantasy Flight games to create The Witcher Adventure Game, a four player competitive board game using characters and locations from The Witcher series. In the game players will explore the world, take on sidequests, and battle monsters to gather victory points.

To introduce the game, CD Projekt Red has created a lengthy tutorial video explaining the rules and showcasing the artwork on the board, cards, and dice. Players will have the choice to play as one of four Witcher characters, each with their own unique skillsets.

If you aren't a fan of tabletop gaming, CD Projekt has also developed a digital version of The Witcher Adventure Game that you can pre-order through GoG.com right now. The digital version will release on November 27, 2014. No date was given for the physical version.
