PSA: Destiny Downtime Scheduled For Thursday

You'll need to bid your Guardian farewell for a little while tomorrow (Thursday, November 13). Bungie has notified users that servers will be taken down for maintenance.

The outage is planned to begin at 8 a.m. Pacific / 11 a.m. Eastern and last four hours. Service should be restored at or around 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Eastern.

The purpose of the maintenance is to pave the way for future updates. In other words, don't expect things to be different when you log back in. For more on upcoming Destiny updates, check out our coverage from earlier this week.
