Reader Discussion: Do Nintendo’s Release Date Announcements Change Your Holiday Gaming Plans?

This morning, Nintendo finally put dates on two important first party titles. Both Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker are now confirmed for pre-Christmas 2014 launches.

Now that we know that Smash Bros. is coming on November 21 and Captain Toad is arriving December 5, have your gaming plans changed? Did you have money allocated for something else that you’l put toward Smash Bros., Amiibo toys, and Gamecube controllers? Is Captain Toad on your radar?

Maybe you weren’t considering a Wii U before today, but now that you know these games are coming, you’re reconsidering. Or, perhaps you just don’t care about Nintendo games and this was less than a blip on your radar. Let us know if today’s news makes a difference to you.
