8-Bit Avengers Recreates Film's Biggest Moments In 3 Minutes

Capcom developed its fair share of licensed Disney games on NES back in the day, but, back in the late '80s, Disney hadn't yet purchased Marvel Comics. Thankfully, Cinefix is here to right history's wrongs and reimagine The Avengers in the style of classic Mega Man games.

With Nick Fury doing his best Dr. Light impression and doling out mission assignments to Captain America trotting around in Protoman's likeness, we can't help but smile at the video's craftsmanship and wish this were a real game. From the initial skirmish between Iron Man and Thor to the massive battle against the Chitauri in Manhattan, this interpretation of The Avengers is full of button-mashing goodness.
