Fan Remakes Sonic Adventure 2 Cutscene With New Models And Environments

It's only about a minute of reanimated footage, but it shows an impressive level of quality.

The video comes from animator Cameron Turner and his YouTube channel Hypo. The video is a follow-up to a previous animation from Turner, which similarly tackled a cutscene from the original Sonic Adventure.

For the Sonic Adventure 2 animation, Turner used the original audio, but otherwise used different camera angles and movements to create the scene. The approximately minute and a half animation took Turner about a month and a half to create. That's about two seconds of animation per day. You can check out the video below.
