Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition Gets Release Dates On PS4, Xbox One, Wii U

Get ready to put on your luchador mask and step into the ring again with Drinkbox’s Metroid-style Guacamelee! The title, which was released last year on PlayStation 3, Vita, and PC, makes its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U next month.

The title is available on July 1 on PlayStation 4 and the following day for Xbox One and Wii U. Included in the Super Turbo Championship Edition is an expanded story, new areas, a new boss, a new ability, and some tweaks to the gameplay.

Our Take
I loved Guacamelee (even in some of its more challenging platforming spots). It has a great sense of humor, and if you happened to miss it in its original release I’d recommend nabbing it next month.
