Flappy Bird Creator Posts Screenshot From New Game

Dong Nguyen, the creator behind the popular Flappy Bird, recently teased a screenshot from a new game, "So people can forget about Flappy Bird for a while."

The game's name, release window, genre, etc., still remain a mystery. It retains the pixelated art style of Flappy bird, but not much else can be determined from the tease.

Nguyen tweeted the tease following news that Flappy Bird would be returning in August with multiplayer.

Our Take
The continuing tale of Dong Nguyen – a creator haunted by his own success – continues to be interesting. I'm not sure what this game will be, but for Nguyen's sake, I hope the game proves he is capable of more than just Flappy Bird.
