Microsoft Says Pre-Loading For Downloadable Games Still Planned
Microsoft spokesperson Major Nelson says that the company is still working on pre-loading for digitally downloaded Xbox One games.
On a Reddit thread entitled "Xbox One Needs Pre-Loading Feature!", Nelson logged and wrote, "All I can say right now is that yes, we want this feature as well." When asked abotu a timeframe he declined to give specifics.
There had been indications that game pre-loading was going to be available for Titanfall, but that feature never materialized.
Sony recently confirmed that pre-loading for PlayStation 4 will be added to the console's firmware in an upcoming system update.

We're glad Microsoft is still planning on adding this feature, which is something that all gamers who download games digitally have been waiting for.
