Game Of Thrones Teaming Up With League Of Legends For Mash-Up Trailer

As a way to promoting the upcoming new season of Game of Thrones, HBO is teaming up with Riot Games' League of Legends.

According to an interview with Riot Games' vice president of eSports and merchandising, Dustin Beck, on alistdaily, HBO cold-called Riot Games anticipating a large overlap of its Game of Thrones audience and League of Legends players. The simplest way the partnership will appear is with the presence of Game of Thrones ads on the League of Legends of website. More interesting though, is an upcoming video featuring Game of Thrones and League of Legends. "We’re also working with their team to produce a mash-up trailer. They’re giving us some exclusive sneak peaks into footage that hasn’t been seen before," Beck tells alistdaily.
