Watch Dogs Creative Director Remarks On Wii U Delay
Earlier this week, Watch Dogs received new release dates for everything, but Wii U. The game's creative director, Jonathan Morin responded to inquiries about the delay on Twitter.
Morin has been fielding questions about the game today on Twitter, and when asked about the Wii U version of the game, Morin said the experience on the Wii U is different and additional staff was needed to work on it.
@21ricky21 @Ubisoft I answer this one. We needed to focus on the overall experience and some Wii U staff was needed for this. Logistic.

Along with the question about the delay of the Wii U version of the game, Morin also confirmed the game will have eight player free-roam multiplayer.

Our Take
The future of the Wii U version of Watch Dogs has been up for debate for some time. It didn't appear on Nintendo's list of upcoming games for 2014 earlier this year. It's nice to know that Ubisoft still has plans for its release, but it's looking like it might be a 2015 title at this point.
