Pre-Purchase Warlords of Draenor, Get A Level 90 Immediately

It’s been known for a while that the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor, would give new and returning players a chance to start on even ground with a free level 90 character boost. However, Blizzard recently announced that this boost will be applied as soon as a player pre-purchases the expansion, meaning months to play with a brand new level 90 before the expansion actually drops. Players that opt for digital deluxe packages and such will receive goodies such as mounts and pets immediately as well. The pre-purchase option will be available “soon”.

Perhaps even more interesting, the announcement also mentions that players will be able to purchase additional level 90 boosts directly, without having to mess around with additional copies, accounts, and transfers.

Our Take
This is a great way to coax new and returning players to the game before the expansion hits. They’ll have extra time to learn classes, explore the level 90 “playground” of Timeless Isle, work on an epic cloak, find guilds, and basically be on even footing with people that have been playing for eight years.
