Microsoft Confirms Sunset Overdrive For 2014

The Xbox One is here, and Microsoft is already rolling out announcements for what we’ll be playing in 2014. Of course, Titanfall will be coming our way in March. Insomniac Games will join Respawn in delivering an exclusive for Microsoft’s new console next year.

In a blog post on the Xbox Wire, Microsoft has committed to a 2014 release for Sunset Overdrive. The color-filled concept trailer lit up E3 this year, and in a subsequent interview with studio head Ted Price, we learned a bit more about the title.

Our Take
The trailer for Sunset Overdrive captured my interest with it’s bright colors and makeshift weapons. The title’s open world approach with interesting traversal has potential, and I’m eager to learn more.
