Disney Interactive Co-President Resigns

Disney Interactive co-president John Pleasants has resigned today, though he'll stay on as a consultant for an undisclosed amount of time.
Pleasants told the New York Times that he would have liked to stay on, but it's "complicated" to have two presidents. He oversaw the release of Disney Infinity last August, which has since added on a few expansions.
The other Disney Interactive president, Jimmy Pitaro, will take over the job completely.

Our Take:
This seems like a logical move for Pleasants and Disney Interactive, as having two perspectives on leadership can cloud company direction and two huge salaries affects the bottom line. It seems Pleasants is going out on a high note as Disney Infinity enjoyed decent early sales and was reviewed positively. Its mobile business is also holding well.
