Naughty Dog Won't Port The Last of Us To PlayStation 4
It's relatively rare to release a blockbuster new IP so late in a console cycle, so many had wondered if Naughty Dog was thinking about porting The Last of Us to PlayStation 4. Looks like that's not happening.
In a Q&A with fans on the PlayStation Blog, Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli was asked about the possibility of a PS4 port of The Last of Us. He answered plainly: "We have no plans to do that."
However, Naughty Dog isn't done with The Last of Us. The Abandoned Territories multiplayer map pack released on PlayStation Network earlier this week. There are two more planned multiplayer DLC packs for the game.

Our Take:
This is good news. The Last of Us is one of the most amazing games of this year, but I'd much rather Naughty Dog and Sony spend their time working on truly next-generation new IPs than porting over a game that already looks gorgeous to new hardware.
