Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link Now Available On Wii U Virtual Console

The only Zelda game that isn't a legend, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, is now available on the Wii U Virtual Console.

The game is $4.99 to download, unless you own the Wii Virtual Console version of the game, in which case it will cost you a dollar to upgrade. As is the case with all Wii U Virtual Console games, you can play the game on the television, or exclusively on the GamePad.

If modern Zelda is more your thing, Wind Waker HD for Wii U is coming October 4, and A Link Between Worlds is coming to 3DS November 22.

Our Take
More classic Virtual Console games on Wii U is always good thing. The Virtual Console's releases are still trickling a little slower than I think we'd like, but easy access to Zelda classics is nothing to complain about.
