Sony Reveals Top Downloaded PlayStation Network Games Of August

Today, Sony released a list detailing what games proved to be the most popular on the PlayStation Network during the month of August.

First up is the list of top 20 PlayStation 3 and PSN games:

1. DuckTales: Remastered
2. Payday 2
3. Journey
4. Madden NFL 25
5. Dragon’s Crown
6. Saints Row IV
7. Max Payne 3
8. Tokyo Jungle
9. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
10. Grand Theft Auto IV
11. Castle Crashers
12. The Last Of Us
13. Divekick
14. Rayman Origins
15. Battlefield 3
16. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist
17. Defiance
18. Tales of Xillia
19. Magic 2014 — Duels of the Planeswalkers
20. Skullgirls

Our Take
I knew nostalgia for the game was strong, but I have to admit that I am surprised to see DuckTales: Remastered at the top of the list, but certainly not disappointed. I am also surprised (bu happy and impressed) to see Journey holding a spot at number 3. The same goes for Guacamelee!. That's a game that deserves to stay on the PSN top ten list for awhile.
