Sony Stock Jumps Following Xbox One Reveal

Microsoft's Xbox One reveal event coincided with a dramatic jump in Sony's stock price.

Sony's stock leapt up to $22.55 from when the Microsoft event started at 1pm Pacific time, a significant jump from the $20.94 it was at noon Pacific.

Microsoft's stock price, on the other hand, barely moved from the beginning to the end of the event, opening at $34.99 and closing at $35.02.

A lot of factors play into stock pricing, of course, but it's difficult to ignore the remarkable spike in Sony's value that took place during Microsoft's event.
