Plants Vs. Zombies 2 Invading Your Well Manicured Lawn This Summer

After mulch ado, PopCap has finally given us a hint about the sequel to one of their most adored games. Plants vs. Zombies 2 will flower into a full release this summer.

The video below features a bouquet of celebrities who are clearly impatient for the release of the follow-up to 2009's hit. Unfortunately, PopCap hasn't revealed the exact release date, instead choosing to merely seed further anticipation by letting us know it will arrive in July and that it carries the subtitle "It's About Time."

We're thrilled to see they studio rose to the occasion, and that Plants vs. Zombies 2 won't keep us waiting much longer. If you have yet to play the original, it's available for a plethora of platforms. Just remember to have a pea shooter or two garden your door.
