Man Controls Rat With His Brain Using Science
In Dishonored, you can control rats using magical powers gifted to you by The Outsider. In real life, all we need is science.
Yahoo News has a report that scientists have figured out a way for a human being to affect the movement of a rat's tail using only his thoughts. Scientists attached electrodes that pick up brain-wave activity on a man, and then connected that to a rat with microscopic electrodes implanted in its head. By focusing on a screen displaying a flashing light, the man was able to make the rat move its tail.
Clearly the next step is this right here. For more on the future of human controlling animals for devious purposes, you can check out the full research article.
