Disney Infinity Gets Delayed

Disney Infinity is now facing a two month delay and will not be released until late August.

The delay is due to the request of retailers so that the release is closer to the holiday season. Originally, the June release date was supposed to coincide with the release of the film Monster’s University. 

“We could deliver in June if we wanted to,” says co-president John Pleasants. “Will a two-month timing change help us? Sure, of course. It gives us a little more time to add bells and whistles and make sure it really sings and pops.”

Disney Infinity will be launching in the US Aug. 18 and everywhere else Aug. 20 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, WiiU, and 3DS.
