God of War: Ascension Single-Player Demo Goes Live Today

PlayStation Network owners can get a taste of the next chapter in the epic God of War saga starting today. To celebrate, Sony also released a new trailer for the game.

According to Sony, the demo will let you see some of Kratos' new combos as you work your way towards a battle with a Titanic beast.

Sony also announced some exclusive pre-order DLC for the game. All pre-orders will receive a Mythological Heroes Multiplayer DLC Pack, which gets you the characters Perseus, Orion, Achilles, and Odysseus. Those that order at Best Buy will receive an exclusive multiplayer weapon, the "Mjolnir" (Thor's hammer), inspired by the new History Channel show Vikings.
