2K Officially Proclaims Multi-Year Exclusivity For WWE License

The WWE license officially belongs to 2K. The publisher bought the rights to make WWE games from THQ, but now all the paperwork is signed, and 2K is officially the new publisher.

The WWE games are still being created by Japanese developer Yukes, but starting with WWE '14, you will see some new logos at the beginning of the game's start screen.

Look out for the next entry in the WWE series this fall.
