Today In Reviews: Hitman, Walking Dead, PlayStation All-Stars, Persona 4, Sonic Racing

by Adam Biessener on Nov 20, 2012 at 12:06 PM

Get the final word on the day's five big releases right here.

First up: Jeff Marchiafava explains how Square Enix and IO Interactive simultaneously brought the classic stealth/assassination franchise back to its roots and forward into the future in his Hitman: Absolution review. Next, Ben Reeves something something [spoilers] the final episode of Telltale's exceptional Walking Dead adventure.

Rounding out the day's releases, Dan Ryckert barely manages to stay awake while typing up all the ways that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's release proves uneventful, Kim Wallace still loves Persona 4 in its latest incarnation but not enough to please its most rabid fans, and Jeff Cork apologizes to nobody for enjoying his time with Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Bonus round: Joe Juba loves him some LEGO Lord of the Rings. It didn't come out today, but we didn't receive early review code and so Joe had to plow through the sprawling game post-release like everyone else.

Me, I posted trailers and trolled Twitter. Hey, someone's got to.

Are you picking up any of today's games? Or are you just hyperventilating in an email or blog post about how GI hates/doesn't understand/unfairly loves/obviously is biased for (against) today's releases?
