Shoot Many Robots Receives Competitive Sequel In Arena Kings

by Matt Miller on Jul 23, 2012 at 11:50 AM

The newly announced Arena Kings takes the fun of the original title and attempts to transfer it into an irreverent competitive multiplayer experience.

News came through today that Demiurge Studios is hard at work to complete work on Shoot Many Robots: Arena Kings. The competitive 2D shooter is a standalone title focused on online deathmatch, or at least a strange twist on that familiar mode. The Royal Flush game mode has players killing other players to take their crowns, which must then be flushed down a teleporting golden toilet.

Eager to involve the fan community, Demiurge has opened up a beta sign-up page so you can check out the free-to-play title on your PC. If you sign up, you can hope to become part of the weekly batch of new participants as the game heads towards its final release on Steam in the upcoming months.
