Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron Prequel Coming To Comics

San Diego Comic Con is in full swing, and High Moon Studios' Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the talk of the show. Earlier today, we learned that the Dinobots are a part of the game's multiplayer character creation system, and the show game Hasbro the opportunity to unveil a new series of action figures inspired by the game. During IDW Publishing's panel, another Transformers: Fall of Cybertron reveal was announced.

In August, IDW is releasing a new bi-weekly, digital-only comic book series that tells a prequel story to the game, focusing on the Dinobots and Shockwave. Each comic retails for 99 cents – much like IDW's recent Transformers: Autocracy – and is set to launch on Comixology and other digital comic providers. This comic is written by John Barber and illustrated by Dheeraj Verma.
