Splinter Cell Could Be Heading to a Theater Near You

A recent story from deadline.com has revealed that a deal between Ubisoft and Paramount Pictures is in the works. Talks had previously been between Ubisoft and Warner Bros, but the proposed arrangement fell through. Ubisoft then turned to Paramount, which has a long history of creating Tom Clancy films.

The article states that, “Ubisoft will be very involved and retain control over how the game is translated into film.” Though movies based on video games have historically not done well, I have high hopes for a Splinter Cell movie.
