Wii U Supports Two Gamepads
Today at Nintendo’s E3 press conference, Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo North America, confirmed that the Wii U will support two gamepads at once.
Nintendo says no games shown during E3 2012 will support two gamepads, but it’s definitely in the works. Nintendo also detailed other aspects of the Wii U gamepad. The controller has a screen, two analog sticks, a headphone jack, volume control, rumble, a microphone, and built-in camera, and more.
According to Nintendo, the framerate will be halved to 30 frames per second when a second gamepad is connected to a single Wii U console.
