BBC Reports: UNSC To Intervene In Syria?

As one of GI's summer interns, I know the importance of double checking your work before it gets published. I'm certain that whoever was responsible for broadcasting the UNSC emblem from the Halo franchise, instead of the intended United Nations emblem has learned that too. During a broadcast of BBC's News at One the emblem mistakenly appeared in conjunction with the United Nation's involvement in the conflict in Syria.

Hopefully, whoever was responsible for the mix up has learned the pitfalls of a Google image search without further fact checking. BBC has since apologized and the mistake was only aired once, but, as we all know, mistakes last forever on the internet.
