New details have surfaced about Soul Sacrifice, the new action game for PlayStation Vita.

According to a new report in Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, former Capcom designer and Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune is leading the project with Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenoblade Chronicles) and Wataru Hokoyama (Resident Evil 5) working on the music.

Development is being handled by Marvelous AQL, the team behind the recent 3DS title Rune Factory 4. The report suggests the game is hitting Japan sometime this winter. A number of screenshots and artwork have been posted on Famitsu's website. Head on over to check them out.

Sony is holding a press conference in Japan later today where we hopefully learn even more about Soul Sacrifice.
