Sonic Co-Creator Joins Nintendo

Hirokazu Yasuhara, one of the original designers on the early Sonic The Hedgehog titles, has joined Nintendo.
Gamasutra reports Yasuhara left his designer position of Namco Bandai last month. Before then, he spent 6 years at Naughty Dog working on the Jak and Daxter series and 2 years at Visual Concepts working on The Floigan Brothers.
He first joined SEGA in 1988 where he worked alongside Sonic co-creator Yuji Naka. Yasuhara is now working at Nintendo Software Technology, a North American Nintendo subsidiary. It's unclear right now what he's working on.
Game Informer has contacted Nintendo for comment.
