As part of a 15,000 word behind the scenes look at the development of Mass Effect 3, it's revealed BioWare Montreal was working on first-person shooter called Mass Effect Team Assault.

The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3, a new iPad app from writer Geoff Keighley, gives a close look at the game's development, which includes interviews, interactive games, concept art, and content that never made it into the retail game.
