22,500 Attended GDC 2012

Along with the four other GI staffers that recently returned from San Francisco, I'm currently recovering from the GDC madness. After a week of panels, talks, and game demos, some stats have come in regarding this year's show.

With a 17 percent increase over last year's numbers, the 2012 GDC saw 22,500 members of the gaming industry and press swarm San Francisco's Moscone Center. It was a great show, and it'll be interesting to see how the numbers compare for next year's show, which has been announced as taking place March 25-29, 2013.
