North American PSN Boss Exits Sony

Sony has confirmed that Susan Panico, head of PlayStation Network in North America, has left the company after 17 years.

Panico first started at Sony Computer Entertainment in 1994. She was named Senior Director of PlayStation Network in February 2007. In a statement sent to VentureBeat, Sony said, "“We can confirm Susan has left SCEA. We thank her for her considerable contribution to our business and wish her every success in the future.”

There's no word yet on where Panico is going or who will replace her at Sony.
