Nintendo 3DS Broke Japanese Sales Records In December
Enterbrain has been tracking sales since 1997, but in the month of December, the 3DS broke all of its records.
It's unclear though as to what record has been broken, exactly. Enterbrain refers to the high number of 3DSs sold as the most single month sales. It could be units sold of anything, or just systems, or just monetary intake, but whatever it is, a lot of people bought the 3DS last month in Japan. The system sold 1,492,931 units, to be more exact.
Second place in December went to the Vita which sold 402,794 units since its release on December 17.
