New Amazing Spider-Man Details

Activision has revealed new details for The Amazing Spider-Man, a movie tie-in title from developer Beenox.

First revealed at the New York Comic Con earlier this year, The Amazing Spider-Man will launch this summer, coinciding with the release upcoming the film from Sony Pictures. The game will be an epilogue to the movie and returns to the free-roaming, open-world city of Manhattan found in previous Spider-Man titles. The story for The Amazing Spider-Man is being written by Seamus Kevin Fahey (Battlestar Galactica).

A new teaser trailer was posted online today with a bigger reveal planned for this Saturday night at the Video Game Awards show on Spike TV.
