Nintendo And West Coast Customs Built Real Life Mario Karts

In promotion of Mario Kart 7, Nintendo headed to the L.A. Auto Show with fully functional Mario go-karts based on the 3DS game.

It makes sense when you think about. What better way to show off a game meant to be played in 3D, than with real 3-dimensional go-karts based on the game? No footage of the karts actually racing or spinning out over bananas unfortunately, but you can see them below in the video, even if they are completely motionless.
