Watch This Trailer For The Fan-Made Halo Helljumper Miniseries

With no real Halo movie in the near future, devotees of Microsoft's flagship series can watch a fan-made miniseries beginning in January.

The project, called Halo Helljumper, is an episodic series set in the Halo universe, and judging from the trailer below, the production values are surprisingly high for an unofficial production.

According to Helljumper's site, the miniseries is adapted from the Halo short story "Dirt" by Tobias S. Buckell. The description reads: "Halo Helljumper is a short series of films that follows the life of one human ODST from his enlistment in the UNSC before the Human-Covenant War to around the Fall of Reach."
