Adrian Gonzalez Is Your MLB 12 The Show Cover Star

Sony is getting the jump on next year's MLB season with the announcement that Adrian Gonzalez will be MLB 12 The Show's cover star.

Gonzalez is a first baseman for the Red Sox, and is a four-time All-Star and a three-time Gold Glove winner, among other things.

"I feel very humbled to be chosen for the cover of MLB 12 The Show," said Gonzalez. "I think most sports fans would agree it's a dream come true to be immortalized as the cover athlete for a video game, so I jumped at the chance to work with a leading franchise like The Show. It's truly a great honor."

MLB 12 The Show comes out for PlayStation 3 on March 6.
