Activision Asks That You Don't Play Modern Warfare 3 Online Early
Activision says it has no interest in banning users who purchased legitimate copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and play online before Tuesday.
“We value and appreciate the community’s support. We have no interest in banning legitimate copies in these last few days," an Activision spokesperson told Game Informer. "We just ask for everyone to wait for Tuesday when everybody can play the game together.”
This statement comes after reports yesterday were citing Microsoft's Stephen Toulouse who said Xbox Live user accounts may be affected for those who play online before the game's November 8 release. Early copies of Modern Warfare 3 have already appeared for sale on eBay, with one game being sold for over $1,700.
