Rumor: Layoffs At Silicon Knights

It may not come as a huge surprise after the disappointing X-Men Destiny (pictured above), but a new rumor suggests that Canadian developer Silicon Knights has greatly reduced its staff.

The rumor originates from 1UP, reporting on "two credible independent sources" stating that the staff at Silicon Knights has been cut from nearly 100 employees to meager 25. Silicon Knights is most loved for the Gamecube survival horror cult classic Eternal Darkness, but the developer has faded in the eyes of many gamers, with 2008's Too Human and now X-Men Destiny both failing to live up to expectations.
